Description

This is the modular version of the famous LEGO® Double Crossover 7996 with a bunch of additional goodies. The old original crossover had one big problem: It could only switch alternating between tracks which is not sufficient for most railroads. Trixbrix came up with this new and improved version so now you can switch each 4 tracks individually!

  • Less than a half the price of the original.
  • Features independent switching (the original crossover switches were coupled together).
  • contains 17 elements:
    • 4 x switch sections with a spring mechanism
    • 1 x a middle crossover section
    • 4 x detach sections witch smooth rail guides for building switches
    • 4 x R40 curved half tracks
    • 4 x R40 Connectors used for parallel setups in switches and single crossovers
  • you get 4 complete switch sets (2 left, 2 right) and a crossover middle section.
  • you can build 4 switches or 2 single crossovers or a full double crossover.
  • upgrade your layout with our modular crossover for less than half of the price of the original which is no longer produced and hard to come by.
  • Completely redesigned with sleepers, studs and anti-studs for a more realistic look.
  • Dark Bluish Gray color (same as orginal).
